Yes because I always remember this verse when I'm tempted to commit myself to doing something.
James 4:13 Come now, you who say, "Today or tomorrow we will go into such and such a town and spend a year there and trade and make a profit"-- 14 yet you do not know what tomorrow will bring. What is your life? For you are a mist that appears for a little time and then vanishes. 15 Instead you ought to say, "If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that."
So when I'm asked about doing something in the future I usually say "Lord willing" instead of "Yes".

Honestly though, there are certain situations where I have found that I become weak and my NO! becomes a "well, maybe" which becomes a, "why not..." These are the situations I try to avoid.
The most recent one was my best friends sister. She's a VERY attractive, intelligent and brilliant young lady (by young I mean 23) and asked me to take her home from the bar one night. I declined knowing that if she tried to get me inside her place I would not be able to say no.
We must know our limits.

Yes I can, which is why I very rarely do it.
If I do I'll spill blood if necessary, mine or someone else's, to meet my commitment.
