Banks are required to get a valid government photo id from their customers to cash checks. This means a not expired drivers license, alien ID, military ID, passport, state ID, ect...it must be issued by the federal government or a state government, and it must be a photo.

So no, a library card would not fall into this category.

If you are a minor some excpetions can be made, but those exceptions are made by the individual banks.

Technically, it is up to the bank's discretion what ID they want to accept. If your library card has your name, a picture and a digitized signature, then they MAY accept it. But it's not likely. Try using your passport, or look into getting a state ID.
