I have powerpoint and know how to use that. But I also have adobe photoshop (no idea how to use), snapfish, and shutterfly accounts which have slideshows. I will be playing off of a laptop, plugged into a big screen tv during the reception. I only have a few weeks until the big day? Any ideas? Thanks!

Hi,

This is just my opinion - I think the slide show option in Adobe's PhotoShop and Acrobat are lame.

Stick with PowerPoint. You already know how to use it and it is designed for slideshows. The other products can be contorted into playing them, but they're not good at it.

I tried to do a slideshow on powerpoint and ran into trouble making the soundtrack sync up with the slides. But that may be because I'm lame.

I use a program called Pinnacle Studio, which is pretty intuitive and makes music editing pretty easy. We've had some challenges getting the file ripped to a DVD on occasion, so a word of caution on that end ....

well u can't play a slideshow with photoshop.. u can only edit photos in there.. if u can at least figure out how to resize them, and touch them up (very easy, using the spot healing brush) adust brightness and contract, etc, then move them to powerpoint to make the actual slideshow.. or ask a friend who is better with those things to do it for you.
