I have a London Broil that I am planning to marinate and cook for dinner tonight. Currently I have a mixture of olive oil, balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, and minced garlic (from a jar). Do you have any advice on what to add to this or what to do instead?

You've got a great marindae there, I wouldn't touch it with anything except some fresh cracked black pepper for a little kick......And when you take the meat off the heat, remember to let it "rest" for about 8-10 minutes before slicing........Enjoy!!!

Sounds like you have all of the right ingredients just puncture some holes in the meat so that it will absorb into the meat and not just the surface.

I wouldn't add salt until after you sliced the meat, it tends to toughen the meat.

Add some cracked black pepper- and that's exactly what I use. If I'm short on time, I'll use Ken's Italian dressing as a substitute marinade.

add salt, pepper, a little wine. use white wine if you don't like the strong taste of wine. add the oil last otherwise it stops the marinade from penetrating.
