Most people accept that we are descended from the apes, (except for george w. and his ilk)!
Therefore they must have a soul.
Will I meet my great great (ad infinitum) grandfather with his prehensile tail in the afterlife?
Or, do christians believe that we only got soul after the missing link?

The Pixies believe that monkeys do go to heaven.

Read Xi Yu Ji (Journey to the West ) by Wu Cheng'en. This 500 year old Chinese fairytale tells the story of a stone monkey who hatches from an egg. He learns magical powers and becomes so powerful he declares himself "equal of heaven." In heaven the Jade Emperor tolerates him, but when he steals the Emperors peaches (eating them makes one immortal) the Emperor takes the opportunity to banish him back to earth, imprisoned under a mountain for thousands of years. When 2 other people are kicked out of heaven, Buddha offers them all a shot at redemption if they agree to help his priest on a quest to got from China to India to collect Buddhist scriptures and return them to China, on the condition they use no magical powers to to transport the priest.
Certainly the Buddhists therefore believe a monkey can go to heaven.

you should be flawed.... If that monkey is sitting close to the main important banana pile he has ever considered...then he may well be in monkey heaven. yet, if that monkey has only pooped out all those bananas, the look on his face says this may well be monkey hell.

of course otherwise how could monkey have angered Buddah by claiming to be "King Monkey Great Sage and equal of Heaven"

Nobody who exists or ever has existed knows what happens when you die or if anyone has a "soul" and if so what that is. They might tell you they know these things but be sure that they don't. Your guess is as good as anyone elses.

God created monkeys, they have souls, so i think they go to heaven too. but i believe we dont evolve from monkeys.
