Am I led to believe then that people who follow a religion are of the general idea that everyone who has sex outside of marriage does so through casual sexual relationships with anyone and everyone they bump into. Thats not giving the millions of us in loving faithful relationships a hope in Hell when it comes to avoiding the pit. Its things like that which make this particular Atheist hard to convert.

"But even in your so-called "loving relationship", you are still stealing sex from her, and you have nothing binding you to her. You could leave anytime, as soon as things get "boring" or you meet someone better looking. No one will stop you. You want to get the milk without buying the cow."

If you're addressing me with that remark, first off I am female in a relationsip with my boyfriend, and secondly - if I wanted to leave then I would, but since I am in love with him and have every intention of remaining with him, I don't take kindly to your dim view of me. I want to get the milk without buying the cow? O.o What a ridiculous metaphor, and what an absurd notion. Your opinion of me is unparalleled in my ever lower opinion of you.

I haven't met many religious people who have abstained and I'm very well traveled, know many diverse groups etc. I didn't want to abstain, didn't find it reasonable and wish that someone would have talked about birth control rather than abstinence.
I've never been pregnant and I guess I was intelligent enough to educate myself before having sex.

You don't go to hell by doing bad things like that - we all
do bad things - I don't condemn my brother who is not
a Christian for living with his girlfriend - I just want them
to get married and encourage them to stay together with
their children. To go to heaven, get to know the creator
and He will change your life.

(8) "I say therefore to the unmarried and widows, It is good for them if they abide even as I. (9) But if they cannot contain, let them marry: for it is better to marry than to burn".
