It's ethnic structure and geographical state makes it very hard to invade. If some one does it so, it's more and more difficult to keep it.
Look at the history, no one manages to hold those lands for much. Last super force is the Ottoman Empire, even them, with so powerfull military decided that they can't control those lands and fall back.
And most important they are a nation. Unlike in Iraq they have a majority in ethnic nation. Standing against a handmade country is easy but Iran has an ancient population.

Only if they make the first move. I don't believe the US has any plans to get involved in Iran unless they make an outright attempt to attack Israel (since their President made statements about removing Israel from the face of the Earth). Iran is a joke, they have been for a long time and will continue to be one for the time being.
Overall, NO, Iran will not be invaded by the US, but I didn't say the US wouldn't enter Iran in an attempt to defend itself or its allies.

Probably not. I think that with all the civil dissent we've had in our country about Iraq, no politician would ever bring a premptive strike back on the table.

Could be if this congress and senate don't hurry up and grow a pair of balls to stop us.
Justification....plzzzzzz all, Dubya and I have to do is scare you and lie to you and bam! We could be blowing up Iran, just like that.

US wants to stop iran from having nukes and seems really determined to do so,
on the other hand Iran wants to develop nukes cuz the mullas are fu**ing scared!
they know their time is up and ppl want them out

is this the best the pelosi/reid regime can come up with now that the sales pitch on the quick fix for iraq is being found out....tch tch tch....there is no invasion there is no threat of an invasion...grow up, get a life, move on.
