A lot of times hotel gyms and pools allow people who live in the area to purchase memberships. I am not sure if this is the case at this particular hotel, but I just wanted to let you know that the hotel isnt letting ppl swim/workout there for free

it is normal for hotels to let anyone into their restaurants and bars. Gym and pool facilities are usually reserved for guests only. You may have some front desk people that are letting their friends and family use the facilities. Talk to the hotel manager and ask the about the pool and gym policy. If it is disturbing your stay, I would complain. You paid to be there, no reason your time should be ruined by freeloaders. If you cant get resolution locally, call corporate Marriott. They will probably offer you a free night somewhere.
