i dropped my olympus d 540 zoom into a pool for like 2 seconds
now it won't turn on or off

can this be fixed for around 40$?

its an older camera but i really like it =/

removce the batteries and set it someplace warm and dry allowing it to completely dry for at least 24 hours.

Replace the batteries. It might work, but it's probably toast

That camera model is 3 1/2 years old...time to get a new one.
Perhaps you should consider one of Olympus's new waterproof cameras if you insist on taking it near water.
