Have her spayed, ASAP. There are plenty of Lab mixes in shelters already. On petfinder.org alone, there's almost 17,000 Labs and Lab mixes that are homeless. Do you want to add to that population?!?

It shouldn't be a problem for her physically; however, why is your lab not spayed and/or his boxer neutered? This would solve the whole issue, as well as avoiding future problems.

The HSUS estimates that 3-4 million cats and dogs are euthanized every year. Please don't contribute to that problem by having an unaltered pet having litters.

If you really are worried about her having puppies, then you can spay her even though she's pregnant, resulting in the loss of the litter.

If she is bred there should be no problems with the pups, labor and delivery. They are for the most part dogs of the same size so it's not an issue. I'd get her fixed after the pups are gone to new homes. She'll be back in a cycle 6 months after that last cycle or 6 months from when the pups were born. You DON'T want her getting pregnant 2 times in a row. It takes a dog a full year to get her calcium level up after a litter and if she's bred the next cycle she can die from calcium convulsions.

There are already lots of mixed breeds out there. Your female could also have major problems due to pregnancy or whelping. There is also a chance your female could die. Have your vet spay her now, & you want have complications or unwanted puppies. Best of luck to you & your dog.

Gee, just what the world needed, more POS mutts. Especially coming from an inexperienced irresponsible owner who doesn't even know how to tell if a dog is pregnant or not? Get both the dogs fixed.

if i were you i would feel irresponsible for not having my animal spayed and tell your neighber to get him nuetered. yes I think it is bad to breed animals unless you are trying to save the species or breed from extinction. dont ever say it was an accident because it is impossible for your dog to have babies on accident because they should be spayed or nuetered.make sure she is not pregnant then get her spayed!!!!!!!!!you should watch your dog more often.

No, it creates mutts that will just end up in shelters and eventually euthanized. Have the female spayed asap regardless of if she is pregnant.

Their sizes are comparable so in that regard it is okay for them to mate but there are a lot of unwanted dogs out there. If you can't find her pups good homes have her spayed now.

yes it is ohkay for them to mate. a way to tell is that the females nipples should be growing longer. i would spay her asap. but still if you didnt want puppies then why the hell did you not get her spayed earlier. you know that millions of mutts go to the pound and get killed every day. do the right thing and get them both fixed.
