After almost 2000 years the original manuscripts no longer exist any more than any writings which a thousand years newer.

But many, many copies were made and distributed to the churches all around the Mediterrainean. From the abundance of these copies, we have scholars who have compiled a rather exact facsimili of the original.

Look up Nestle's "Novum Testamentum Graece" on the web as an example.

Yes, some of them do exist. Scholars and archeologists have uncovered many different codex's and texts that have been dated to ancient times. There wasn't just one copy of each book in the Bible. There wasn't just one Bible made.

Often times, groups followed one or two gospels/books, and there were several copies made and spread around the Roman Empire and beyond..we know this because we've found the same text (Gospel of Luke) for example in several different languages, etc. all dating from around the same time.

there have been over 2 hundred gospels. somebody picked 4 gospels to make the bible, something have been lost, burned, hidden even... the real answer to this question is no one knows, not any christian pupils, not any bible thumpers, not any present day instructors... One gospel that all human beings disregarded that i haven't considered all of us stated is THE e book OF ENOCH.
