As the population of Christians world wide continues to decrease will you fight less and less amongst yourselves over denominational differences?

Currently the population of Christians world wide continues to decrease; this is despite a large percentage of denominational factions being against birth control (a leading factor in the shear numbers of Christians).
Simultaneously, Christians still continue to argue over denominational divisions.
Many Protestants and Catholics still think about the thousands (or more) of each other slaughtered in the middle ages and renaissance. Many Christians still say that Jehovah’s Witnesses, Mormons, and Seventh Day Adventists are not “true” Christians. The Pope is leading an attack against large populations of devout Christians because they are not Catholic.

Will the in-fighting ever stop? Will you let the growing number of Muslims ace you out percentage wise as you continue to fight your own?

Maybe I should not have included the line about Islam. I really am more interested in whether, as one responder put it, "doctrine is more important then unity"?

You are believing nonsense Muslim propaganda.
Christianity is nearly double the size of Islam and is increasing in greater numbers.
Islamics love to say because their religion is growing at a larger percentage it is the fastest growing religion in the world.
It like the religion of Islam loves to mix the truth with lies to create an illusion which in itself is a lie.
If you would like to see a census that is only somewhat accurate I can provide you one many religions claim to be the fastest growing it is nearly impossible to accurately prove.

Edit of course the truth is not proven by numbers.

Christianity is actually growing in the world as a whole. But it does seem like denominational loyalties are not as important as they used to be, and a very ecumenical outlook is already developing.

Jesus said Love was the identifying mark of true christians.

Which group of Christians have a record of going to prision and to their death because of Love?

Which group of Christians have a record of a world wide brotherhood?

Which group of Christians have a record of love for their neighbor by preaching the good news of the kingdom?

When you answers these questions you are on the road to finding the true followers of Christ.

I'll still "fight" as you call it, since doctrine is more imporant than unity according to the Bible. The number of people on the Lord's side at any given time does not determine truth. Truth is a constant, and Jesus is Truth.

The numbers decreasing are only people who claim to be believers. Look at all the atheists on this site if you don't believe me, many of them at oe time claimed to be believers when they were truly not.

True...we DO need to stop infighting....but it isn't all about numbers, it is about truth.

Saying you are Christian doesn't make you one....belief in Christ and adhering to His teachings do....

The proof, as they say...is in the pudding.

I'll have vanilla, please!
