Well I can never run after I eat. I would get sick. I either run at the crack of dawn or at dusk. For the simple reason that it is not as hot during those times. I live in South Florida and it gets HOT HOT HOT down here. I would never run after 10PM simply for safety reasons but if you feel secure doing it than go ahead. Do whatever works for you!

there is no "best" time to run......but the experts say the best time would be any time that you can stay persiistent with....usually that means morning, because if you alot the time to run in the am there are no variables that can alter your routine... once you run in the am the rest of the day can fall as it may at least you have done your run......but some ppl llike to run at night, same thing as long as you stay with it....Pm runs , if you wanna be in bed by 10pm then just allow time for the run , cool down period of close to 15-20 mins and shower up......the best routine is anyone you can stick to...bottom line

Running first thing in the morning will burn more fat - since you likely will not have eaten for several hours - your body will be forced to burn fat for energy. Whatever fits your schedule, as long as you are running regularly.
