OK if your doctor said they haven't a clue then u need a doctor that will refer you to a gastroenterologist or dietitian,
Get a new doctor...one that knows what he/she is talking about.

Some people do not tolerate certain foods. E.g. wheat is harmful to people with gluten intolerance, and even for perfectly normal people it can cause bloating. Many people can take curry and garlic, but some people get really sick from eating even a bit. So you just have to avoid foods that make you sick. Sometimes it's not all the foods you take that's causing the problem. It's the combination that matters, e.g. cheese and wine. You need eliminate by trial and error to see what goes and what don't. You can also try taking pre- and pro-biotic drinks to see if the 'friendly' bacteria flora can help you.

Some years ago I had similar symptons, took Gaviscon for a while, but then decided to take regular probiotics and today my stomach is like velvet. I take Probiotics (capsules) bought at Boots. Try them for a few weeks, I am sure you will feel a difference.

If the food is fatty, this pain could be gall stones although the pain would be slightly higher up. Try a fat free diet & see if that makes any differance.

you may be developing food allergies -has your dr tested you for acid reflux? it could also be one of your digestive organs is not doing what they are supposed to do-secreting -the right level of enzymes -like for example -diabetes -im not saying you have -diabetes -you dr should do an enzyme test -that should determine whats going on -its ok to ask different drs for an opinion-also taking something like tums-might be of some relief -most any antacid -as long as its over the counter -take it right before you eat -- good luck

Ask for a second opinion. Try not to eat food you know will upset your stomach.

Tomatoes? They don't agree with me, but only tinned ones, full of citric acid. Or dairy things? Spicy? Try having a drink of water or milk with your dinner, should help digestion.
