Uhm.... First of all CONGRATULATIONS!!! I dont think you need to give him anything unless you want to. Him giving you a promise ring means that he is very happy with your relationship and he is thinking about taking it further (engagement!) Just worry about giving him what you have been giving him so far...Apparently, you've made an impact on him , so you've given him something already. If you really want to give him something, it doesnt really have to be big (promise rings only go one way for some reason... One partner gives it to the other and maaaaaaybe the other person could give a promise ring in return) If you want to... It would be sweet if you gave him a promise ring in return (make sure you get the correct ring size lol)

Traditionally a girl doesnt have to give the guy anything just like an engagement. But if you want to give him something then the most common thing is a necklace with a ring on it.

A promise ring! if he's into you and into the idea..get him a "manlier" ring than just a band that doesnt cost a fortune..maybe show him the site and he'll change his mind (depends on the guy).. Here's a cool website when i looked up my boyfriends..

It depends on how serious you and him are, but u should Prolly give him a ring too, or some other jewelry that has sentimental meaning.
