For the last 2 months or so, I've had a constant but not excruciating pain in my upper right arm. I played softball this summer, but the pain was there just prior to my playing. Whenever I turn my arm a certain way or when I reach for my coffee cup, that is when I feel it, a sharp, pinching pain. Should I be overly-concerned about this? Is this serious enough to go have it checked out?

sounds like you got a trapped nerve.

i had one in my back and it put me in bed for 3 weeks.

a few trips for massages long soaks in a hot bath and rubbing with baby oil soon shifted it.

It could be anything from a pinched nerve to a torn rotator cuff, I would have it checked out... It's better to be safe than sorry when it comes to our bodies.

I would just go and get it checked out, I dont think its very serious but you dont want it to hurt forever so just get an x-ray or something.
