Do you have an allergy to the soap you are using? Or even the water. I had a cousin that was allergic to the additives in water and had to use only a special kind. It would cause a rash all over her body. Try lukewarm water rather than hot water. Also try some Aveeno lotion and see if that does the trick.

If your face is itching #1 you may have sensitive skin, and #2 it's sounds really dried out.

Skip the acne meds and try a gentle foaming cleanser, and a light astringent made for sensitive skin. Exfoliate your skin every other day to get rid of dead skin cells, and moisturize 2x daily. Only use acne ointment on spots that pop up and not all over your face to prevent over drying.

Make sure to always wear sunscreen, if you're using acne medications this could be why your face is over dryed.

You are probably drying your skin out with those acne medications. Even if you have oily, acne-prone skin, you should still be using moisturizer as part of your daily skin routine. If you dry out acne-prone skin too much, it tends to itch and flake, which causes dry skin to clog pores, which leads to more acne, and the cycle continues. Look for a good oil-free moisturizer (I like Neutrogena Healthy Defense, with SPF 30), and apply it to your face after you use your anti-acne cleanser. I would also cut back on how often I wash my face with anti-acne wash, if I were you. Try just rinsing your face off with waterevery morning, and only using the cleanser every night before bed, and make sure you moisturize. That should clear up your problem AND make your skin all clear and healthy!

It could be the products you're using. Try milder products like for instance as goofy as it sounds after you wash your face use a neutrogena exfoliator and rinse it off. then soothe your face with Johnson and Johnson's baby lotion and baby oil. I do this right before I go to sleep and it not only cleans your face really well but it soothes it and doesn't feel all heavy.

Good luck! Hope it works!! :)

Is the itching a chronic problem?

I have a horrible habit of burying my face in my pillow or covering with a blanket, and that aggravates the problem.

Try pressing a cold or hot washcloth to your face, patting it dry and putting on some lotion.

Read your acne medications. Most of them are drying to your skin. Make sure you are only using them once a day and applying the correct amount because applying more will just dry your skin and make it produce more oil. Try getting Olay's lotion for your face.

maybe its because of dry skin,if wash your face so much with soap that no oil remain on face then some microscopic wounds will appear on skin that cause such a feeling like yours,so after bath use some cream on your face but no one can help you like a doctor,as soon as possible consult one

u may be allergic to benzicane or salicylic acis, which are active ingredients in mostly all topical acne medications. Tell your doctor about it. I know for a fact that there are many acne medications that dont have it and work great. I currently use a topical foam that uses antibiotics. works great!

After you wash your face with a cleanser, apply olive oil.
It helps your skin a lot.
