Allah is simply the Arabic word for God. Allah for Muslims is the greatest and most inclusive of the Names of God, it is an Arabic word of rich meaning, denoting the one and only God and ascribing no partners to Him. It is exactly the same word which the Jews, in Hebrew, use for God (eloh), the word which Jesus Christ used in Aramaic when he prayed to God. God has an identical name in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam; Allah is the same God worshiped by Muslims, Christians and Jews. Muslims believe that Allah's sovereignty is to be acknowledged in worship and in the pledge to obey His teaching and commandments, conveyed through His messengers and prophets who were sent at various times and in many places throughout history. However, it should be noted that God in Islam is One and Only. He, the Exalted, does not get tired, does not have a son ie Jesus or have associates, nor does He have human-like attributions as found in other faiths.

Because they have not read the revelation sent to Isa AS, the real one. Where it clearly states there is one god.
May Allah bless us all

Sister, May Allah Bless You
People have been brainwashed to think that Muslims worship different God/Gods.
Unfortunately, most of them don't read quran and the teachings of Islam and try to understand.
To the Christians -- If you don't want to read the Quran.. Read the Old Testaments ... it says "GOD is One and Only".
May God Bless You All and Guide You!

In other words,,he is not the same God the Christians worship....Christian means....someone who is a follower of Christ....and since we beleive the Old Testement was pointing toward God sending us a Savior,,,,who would be God made Flesh and walking among us.....then he is not the same God....
It may have the same meaning as far as the word,,,but that is where the difference ends....as far as the Jews,,it is the same God...we owe to them our existance..they are the root from which Christianity sprang. We are the branches... The Jewish God and the Muslim God are not the same.....The Jewish God and the Christianity are.

I can't speak for Judaism but Christians believe in a God powerful enough to communicate directly with each and everyone of mankind. 'Messengers and Prophets' are free to tell me what they think God told them and I am free to ignore them. God gave me that freedom. Islam appears to believe in a God who needs an interpreter - Muhammed - and you are free to do that. I believe that if God wants me to know something he will tell me directly - no middlemen! There appears to be no room in Islam for those who believe in personal revelation, only through the Prophet so it is to be expected that Christans at least will believe that Allah, apparently not as capable as God, is indeed different. I have read the Koran, admittedly quickly, but I did not find Muhammed claiming any exclusive all-time rights over God's word - perhaps I missed that. In the end I believe that, if believing in God or Allah depends firstly on belief in a man (or woman) then things are back to front. Put your faith in God/Allah/Jehovah ONLY. All else is man-made and men have their own ideas and are biologically and culturally inclined to distraction and error. The Christian Church (i.e. an organised group of men) used to torture and kill those who questioned it's authority in spiritual matters. Does anyone actually believe that God/Allah/Jehovah was pleased by that?

Your note at the bottom of your question is THE reason why Christians do not worship the same God as Muslims - in fact, we don't worship the same God as modern-day Jews do these days either. We worship the same God Abraham worshiped under the Oak of Mamre - the Trinity.
The only thing that is in common in the three is the word used linguistically to say "god".
God bless :).

Allah is a created being. He is the god of the moon and the stars, hence, the signia on their flag. You can't get close to allah, no love, no relationship. You said that they are the same. El, Elohim, Yhwh. created us in His image. We have personalities that come from Him. He formed us with His hands from the dust of the earth. We are hand crafted. If allah doesn't have human like qualities, where did you come from? Not trying to start an argument, just trying to get you on the road to thinking!

Quoted from your question above.
You say that Allah is just God and you worship the same, but then lower down you say that God in Islam... The point is, I believe what I believe. If Christ is the SON OF GOD in the Christian tradition, but Islam says he wasn't, how can we believe in the same God???
Get that nonsense out of your head. Muslims say that so that they can feel inclusive... And tolerate before they chop peoples heads off.

Oops! The same name Allah or God did not mean the SAM GOD BEING simply because Allah in Quran denied to have the holy personal name YHWH (=I AM) at the Moses time and he also denied to be the Father of Jesus in the Bible.

Because of history.
The Arabs at the time of Mohammad were worshiping the moon god.
The Catholics were moving in and taking everything by storm and something had to be done.
What better way to unite all the tribes in the area than to claim that God himself spoke to you and we all know that Mohammad was an epileptic, he was either looked at as possessed or gifted. He was the perfect candidate to make reform.
Constantine done the same thing when he went to battle and become emperor, he needed all the Christians who were neutral in order to win his battle and be victorious.
He also claimed he had a vision and seen the cross. All the Christians fought on his side after this and he won because of his claim to Christianity.
He claimed he seen a cross and now we have a bunch of idolaters in the Christian movement worshiping crucifixes and crosses instead of the One true God of Abraham.
Go outside early in the morning and squint your eyes as Constantine done every morning as he worshiped his "sun god" and tell me what you see..........you'll see a cross.
Wow, what a vision...lol.
There is only one way to heaven and that is through the God of Abraham's Son Jesus Christ. Remember dear lady, the blessing came through Isaac not Ismael, even your Koran says it.
Turn to Y'shua, He awaits you.
