An ex-friend had a laugh like a mocking shriek, and it reached the pitch of a shrieking child. She is not my friend any more!

The WORSE laugh I ever heard was from this girl I happened by.I still get scared when I think of it.I dont know how to describe it but here goes....
It sounds like a donkey that is at the height of its bray ,when suddenly the farmer holds onto its neck and starts to squeeze all the air out.And instead of the donkey shutting up because its life is being sucked out ,it keeps trying to bray.
I swear I was having a daymare.It was toture and to make matters worst when she starts she doesnt stop. AHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
I hope I explained it where you could understand.I AM NOT KIDDING.This girl sounded HORIBBLE.
P.S-I hope I didn't sound mean but thats the best I can do.

I can't really describe the sound although I have a specific laugh in mind. I find this person's laugh hideous because it is extremely loud and unpleasant and is used not to show mirth or merriment but to keep other people's attention on her. She laughs long, hard and frequently but it has nothing to do with anything other than her constant and selfish need for attention. I avoid her like the plague. And it's not because I've got anything against attention seekers per se it's just so excruciating to listen to her. Thank you for asking this question. I feel much better for talking about this.

Lots of men where I live guffaw really loudly and suddenly. It's scary when it's quiet and then they do that, makes you jump. And they have parties round here in the gardens, and all of them laugh together in a false, incredibly loud way, like hahahaha. It grabs your attention but it goes through you, I hate it. It's so pretentious and obviously false, but loud enough and sudden enough to wake you up. And frequent too.
Really bothers me actually. Hasn't happened this year though, becuase it's rained too much! hahahaha!

Someone I work with jokes around all the time and then laughs REALLY LOUD and it's a basic HA HA HA, but what makes it so hideous is that it hurts my ears and is so annoying.

One girl I knew sounded like a choking donkey when she laughed.
And another girl called Kirsty sounded like a machine gun when she laughed.
We used to joke in the pub that if the redcare broke down we could use her as a burglar alarm.

Poor woman I knew, laughed like a donkey braying...and loundly as well, you could hear her across the street when she was in her house....the first thing anyone ever mentioned about her...thing is she was a lovely woman who loved life and wasn't miserable so laughed all the time....

The worst laugh has to be Janice from the tv sitcom Friends!! Its soooooooo annoying!!

I love laughter no matter what it sounds like :)
Although, my friend has a laugh that kind of gets grating if she keeps it up too long...like a wail/snort/hiccup sort of thing...but at least I know she's happy!
