u must upload them to the laptop.
u must have a physical link to do that
usb cable
bluetooth
usb card reader
a usb connection with XP is easy. either direct or plug the memory card into a card reader.
open windows explorer and u will see the camera or card as another drive.
simple drag-n-drop or copy/paste the pictures to a folder of choice on your hard drive. U can copy the whole folder instead of individual pic files so u don't have to create a folder first.
be sure to delete them from the memory card when u verify a good transfer otherwise u will have no more room for taking pictures.

After you load the pictures from your camera to your PC, go here:
http://photo.walgreens.com/
Register on this website, create a prfile for yourself, and then upload your pictures to the profile. Other people can then look at them.
Also, you can go to this site and request that Walgreens print them out for you, and you then go to a nearby Walgreens store and pick them up. I have sent pictures to people a thousand miles away, by having Walgreens print the pictures out in a store near THEM - it saves a lot of time, and postage - the other person goes to the Walgreens near THEM to pick up the pictures.

make sure you have means of transporting images on your camera, like usb adapter or infra or blue-tooth, or simply the card reader. then upload it to your laptop. then save it to a folder for easy access. then you can browse it when emailing someone. ^_^
