Congratulations. You're thinking for yourself.

Its perfectly fine to be undecided. I'm not religious at all now, but I was searching for years before I came to that conclusion.

In my opinion, WHY you believe is probably more important than WHAT you believe. Good luck on your spiritual journey.

Good question, but I bet you won't find a solid answere. Because religion is a belief, not a sience, and there are no died in the wool answeres. When I was young my folks too me to church, so I believed as they did. Then when I got a little older, maybe a teen I sumbled into problems as one always does. I concluded that there must be a bigger answere, a bigger person than here on earth that has created all this. Call me taking the easy way out, but I don't think so, it's not easy to believe what you can proove, especially if you are mentally all there. I believe in God because I believe, guess he gave me that belief, because I there is much I don't believe in, especially if it can't be prooven. Im from Missouri, the show me state, I love facts.

To prove a point to your self ask yourself a hard question, something like why did gandpa Joe have to die when he was 45. He was too young...well no one knows why his time had come, no docotor, no psychic, no no one, it just is. But God knows.

Hope this helps.

Maybe you are going about your search from the wrong angle..

Try this angle.. Instead of researching different religions, research your own core beliefs... Write down what you truly believe.. When you are done you should have a list... Divide that list into catagories "Things I firmly believe" (these are the things you simply know are right and you can't be swayed on) .. "Things I think might believe" (these are the things you aren't sure about you think they are right but in all honesty you are not sure)

Once you have your beliefs divided into catagories research them especially those in the second catagory .. Especially those in the second catagory... In your research you are trying to either move the belief to the firm catagory or discard it... You will never move everything out of second catagory but you want to get the number of things in there down to a minimum...

Once this is done and you have a good full set of Firm beliefs.. Then start researching religions looking for religions who's teachings match and meld with your firm core beliefs.. Once you understand your firm core beliefs you should have no problems finding which religious beliefs are true for you..

No - it's not bad at all. Good for you! You're searching and learning. Not a think wrong with that!

My religion - Religious Science - believes that there is just one God - and the nature of that God is love. We have banners in our sanctuary with the symbols of all the major religions.

You might want to check it out. It's very open at the top - and a great place for undecided people to hang out and not feel pressured. That's how I found my way there.

Namaste!

No. It shows you have the right heart condition. Searching for truth, hoping to find it. Keep at it and do not settle.

For me, looking at all around me, I see an intelligent Creator at work. These things did not come to be by accident. Organization of the highest order is at work. It is reasonable for such a One to have a certain way He desires to be worshiped. He would make that clear to all who wanted to know.

With all the badness in the world, it is just as apparent someone doesn't want us to find that path. That one would put up all sorts of distractions and what retailers call "loss leaders" to draw us off. Our task is to cut through the clutter to find what the Bible calls "the pearl of great price".

For a direction, it would have to follow God's Word exclusively. If any pagan belief settled in, then it could not be the true religion. Does this not make sense to you? Look at the origins of holidays (the simplest) or doctrines in reference books or on-line. If they are of pagan origin, then the religion in question can't be the true one. Does this make sense?

You should study Islam, i think that'll make you believe that it is the truth. You will need to really get into the details though to really and actually see the glory of it. For example, everywhere in the world when an author writes a book it will no doubt contain a few errors here or there. The author will also revise the book many times. However, when you read the Quran the very first thing it says is "This is the Book; in it is guidance sure, without doubt, to those who fear Allah (2:2)" To begin a book by saying that there are no mistakes in it, no errors in it, no flaws in it, and to challenge the man to find even the smallest of flaws but man will never be able to since there are no flaws. The Quran is a miracle itself and I believe you should definitely study Islam.

No. You've taken the first step to independently finding God on your own. True, no one knows for sure, but you have the divine spark of God within you and he will impart to you the knowledge you desire. You must of course, study many different faiths to discover what your inner souls tells you to be true. Otherwise, how would you know the difference. Here are a few starting points.

Don't let yourself get bogged down only in the Bible. There is much error found there. Study to show thyself approved.

I am the same way undecided as well. Its great that your learning about religions keep looking and learning and maybe you'll find something that interest you or makes you feel something. I found paganism to be very interesting to me but havent taken to it completely. Good luck on your search and dont let anyone tell you what you should be thats for you to decide.

No, people will tell you it is but if you jump to something for others then it will not stick. Research look into yourself and see what you really want out of faith. Look at everything, atheism, Christianity (as a whole you will drive yourself mad trying to understand all the different sects), Buddhism, Islam and all of them. Eventually, you will find what you are looking for even if it is not the acceptable answer to others. God Bless and good luck on your journey.

No, I myself am undecided, because of what you said, *we don't know!!!* and that's the simple truth of it...people might CLAIM they know..but they don't. Not until you die do you know the truth...and even THEN you may not know..Keep searching, I am...I'm just in Atheism right now because I don't believe in any God(s) or Goddess(es)...doubt I ever will but I still try and learn all I can about religion. Whatever anyone may say, follow your heart.
