How to change the bulb on an overhead projector? (3M 9700)?

I have a 3M 9700 overhead projector and recently bought a 3M FXL 410 watts/82 volts replacement bulb. I have no idea how to remove the old bulb.

I purchased a bulb holder to place on a pole, that way
I can reach many heights and don't get burned . Don't
know if it's the height or what.?
