I like both, but personally, I prefer cats. They're more independent and easier to look after - plus no walking them in the dead of winter!
But I love dogs, too :)

I like both dogs and cats. For me it is cats because of health issues I am not able to walk a dog. My two cats almost take care of themselves.

I like cats. I don't mind dogs for the most part. But I think cats are great, I've always been fascinated by Tigers.

dogs have more personality but need constant attention, and can be very destructive and agressive cats are more self sufficient and ambient pets. if you live in an apartment I would go for a cat, if you have some fenced outside space and have enough energy to see to a dog then they are worth it.
