Does anyone own square two golf clubs or know anything about them? Would you recomend them to a weekend golfer?

yea, get a set from a garage sale. you don't need big ticket clubs to play or be good.

As a beginner, you don't need anything super fancy. I would find a Golf Galaxy or, even better, go to Dick's Sporting Goods to find a set. They would actually be able to give you some better tips being a beginner. Realistically, you wouldn't be able to tell the difference right away in clubs (unless you're a natural phenom :)). You could go to K-Mart and get a set, if you need a SUPER cheap set. Good to hear we have a new golfer! I hope you enjoy it (it's the best thing ever to me) and wish you luck at improving the more you play.

get a cheap set of Adams hybrid golf set although it really doesn't matter what you play as a beginner. You don't need exspensive golf equipment to enjoy the game. I see women golfers all the time with nice callaway sticks who can't hit the ball at all. Like I said it doesn't really matter what clubs you start out with. Enjoy the game and good luck

I own a pair - infact they were my first set. The golf shop pros say they were the best for a biggeners because some of them have an offset that would benefit a new golfer and they are not that expensive

If I remember correct;y square two is endorsed by nancy Lopez who is a trusted name in life. I would find a place that would allow you to go out and play with the clubs first before purchase. Let me know if I can help.
