Since his sons support their father's candidacy and pro-Iraqi war stance, it's hypocrisy personified that none of them are willing to serve in Iraq.

His sons are all graduated from college and have families and careers. How many 37 year old doctors are enlisting these days?
If you go to Mitt Romney's website, you can read the 5 brothers blog, and see all of their personal info. They are some really nice, good people. They just were in that large percentage of the population that chooses college and careers ahead of military service. Like, I imagine, you and most of your friends.
You forgot the part about where Mitt already apologized for that remark, days ago, long before you asked this question.

i don't sense he has any explaining to do. His sons are there very own persons, they have their very own minds and make their very own judgements. the protection stress is all volunteer, there is not any longer a draft. So it particularly is in contrast to they have been meant to serve and did no longer. you could nevertheless make the comparable argument approximately applicants who've sons interior the protection stress who've in no way served in Afghanistan or Irag. How did they take care of that. Your insinuation is guilt by ability of relation. i could be extra disenchanted if a candidate intentionally made their little ones examine in for the protection stress to benefit votes. What approximately Hilliary who voted for the statement of action, wheres her Daughter. no longer interior the protection stress. If Hilliary and her fellow Democrats did no longer help the statement of action in congress there could be no conflict. Is she a expert conflict candidate. there is sufficient blame to flow around. to no longer point out Hillary and her fellow Democrats had of challenge to give up the conflict. they did no longer have the integrity to diminish the handbag string that's with of their constitutional authority. as a replace they talk and bring no action. Romney a minimum of does what he have faith no rely the outcomes to his marketing campaign. i will no think of of no Democrat hypocrite candidate that could say the comparable. Romney believes it particularly is larger to combat over their, then right here interior the US. the US could desire to shop it could provide to it allies besides because it commitments. I choose the comparable could desire to be pronounced for Democrats. Democrats basically have faith what the political polls tell them too. Republicans do what they have faith irreguardless of the actual or political ramifications to themselves. further, Romney isn't a expert-conflict candate. Romney in basic terms believes you may desire to finnish what you start up off, shop your can provide on your allies. Peace!!! Love!!! wellness!!! information!!!

I believe that Mitt Romney feels that by leaving the decision up to his sons, they will do so because they want to and not by coercion. As far as his sons serving their country by helping him get into office, well, I guess I could stretch my imagination enough to say "Yeah, kinda sorta" but only after he is elected, he SERVES his country and not provide a lot of lip service and work on hidden or personal agendas.

Okay first of all, who said they were going to die? Yes the death toll remains high, but not every man or woman in uniform has died while over there.
If Romney thinks that his sons are "serving" their country by helping him in the election...well...I can't say anything more than he's got his thought process in the wrong place if he believes that.
How is that helping my father, my brother, my husband and father-in-law to win the war?
It's not, and you're not wrong in asking why his sons aren't wearing the uniform. Serving in a political office does not compare to serving your country on a daily basis.

The Mormons believe we all lived in Heaven with Heavenly Father, several Heavenly Mothers, and 20 Billion Heavenly Siblings before we were born here on Earth. Then there was a war. The good guys won and were born White. The bad guys lost and became demons. Those who were neutral or did not fight bravely were born with non-white skin. The bravest of the brave were born to Mormon families.
We all know that Romney must have been a "Valliant Warrior" in the "War in Heaven" during the "Pre-Existence". How else could he have been born "White and Delightsome" to an LDS family here on Earth? Heck, he was probably one of the Commanding Generals . Now , America needs a President with valuable military experience like that to get us through our war in Iraq. Could you please ask "The One and Only True Prophet", Gordon Hinkley, to please release those valuable records to the public? We need to know what battles he fought in. How many medals he won. How many of the "Less Valliant Soldiers" he recommended being born with black skin when they got their chance to be born on Earth. Was Al Sharpton one of THEM ? How about Jesse Jackson? Mormons, this is your chance to show the world the light of the everlasting gospel. Dont miss out. We have General Romney running for president of the USA and we need you badly right now!

Nothing wrong with not joining the military, personal choice.
If I had my way, military service would be compulsary for everyone like they do in some European countries.
The problem Mitt has is that he compares working for a political campaign on the same level as actually serving one's country.
Pretty weak.

Its a volunteer military. Many men and women have reenlisted to serve in Iraq. I would like all young men to enlist, but its there choice. If Al Sharpton has his way maybe you will have to go too.

Every person has the right to make their own choices about going into the military in America.
Mitt Romney's children are not responsible for his political or military decisions. Our military is 100% volunteer, and if they do not chose to serve, they are not obligated in any way.
Mitt can't force his sons to serve, nor can anyone force anyone else to serve.
God Bless our Troops who do volunteer to serve!
