I have filled out the online application and am currently waiting for a call back. Do any of you have any suggestions on how to go about pursuing this type of profession? If any of you are/were flight attendants, I'd love to hear what your experience has been.
Thank you!!

Good Luck, listen sweety, Airlines are in budget cuts and are NOT hiring, we all have taken major salary cuts to keep our airlines from going bankrupt. There is a hiring freeze and there has been one pretty much since 9/11, unless you want to sling luggage around for 9.00 an hour. Look into another career, and you won't be dissapointed.

You'll have to go through a training program that focuses on safety. (You also have to learn to serve beverages, though.)

They hire mostly based on personality and a sense that you will get what they're trying to teach you. If you're accepted into the program, your employment is contingent upon you successfully completing their training program.
