It is well known that planes account for 5% of total world CO2 omissions and contribute to total greenhouse gases and global warming.

Up until now, the problem has been growing because more and more people are buying plane tickets.

Is not the answser to stop buying plane tickets - and to use airmiles instead?

I like the idea of ending daylight saving time so it will get dark an hour early and we'll have one hour less sun to heat up the planet.

The answer is not simple. Global warming has been a fact for the last 10,000 years...since the last Ice Age, the planet has been steadily warming. At some point, solar output will diminish and we'll descend into another Ice Age. But the cause and effect are far less clear than some might lead you to believe. The climate is a complex mix of both biological and geological elements. For example: Volcanic eruptions put thousands of tons of so-called greenhouse gases into the upper atmosphere but the dust also tends to block some of the sun's rays to prevent warming. The end result is that after major eruptions, there is usually a "cooling" effect in the climate despite the vast amount of greenhouse gases emitted. That's a small example of the complexity of the issue. Should we try to limit pollutants from our cars and industrial processes? Of course. But we need not be myopic on the subject of Global Warming and it's causes and effects and blame it on man-made elements. The hypothesis cannot be tested in an experiment and the models used to verify the hypothesis are hardly accurate or objective.

We should be back using an older more efficient technology like the Zeppelins (only one accident was enough to pull the curtain on the whole technology) that is much safer and cheaper than making planes flying!! Its slower yes, but can carry more payload, and doesn`t require huge airfields to land!!

I am not sure. Try the book The Politically Incorrect Guide to Global Warming and Environmentalism.

I was watching this show on emperor penguins and the penguins all died because of global warming which made sea ice stick to the edges of antarctica which made their journey to the waters edge to get food for their babies too long and they all died

As long as they are Carbon Credit air miles it is fine. Doesn't hurt the earth at all. That's how Al and the elite do it.

A brilliant idea. I say if god had wanted us to fly he would have given us tickets.

or maybe instead of buying tickets- we just "borrow" them.
