Kosher is, as I'm sure you are aware, not only what is IN a product but also how it is prepared. If the company follows Jewish law in preparing the item, then it can say "Kosher". Usually the factory has to have a visit or somehow get authorization to label the item as "kosher."

the ingredients alone have nothing to do with products being kosher. it just means a rabbi inspected and blessed the product, so the extremely religious Jewish people can drink products that other normal people drink.
