Whereas one is determined purely by genetics and the other having both biological and environmental influences, people can't seem to accept others for who they are. Homosexuality is not a sin, and any God who declares it so (not naming anybody) is a bigot, not worthy of worship. Just as it does not make one better, or more righteous, for being white, it does not make one better for being heterosexual.
If you think otherwise, please explain rationally why you disagree.
Saying homosexuals cannot reproduce (which is false) is a lame argument, and does not give you the right to discriminate. Any other reasons for your intolerance?

Alfalfa, homosexuals reproduce all the time, because society tries to force them into a relationship with the opposite sex. Don't you ever see men "coming out of the closet" on TV, after marrying a woman and having kids?

I'd say that discrimination based on race is worse, because we have been through the whole slavery, civil-rights thing already. If we've learned nothing from it, we, as a nation, do not deserve to stand on the face of the Earth any longer. As for discrimination based on sexual orientation; that is far more insidious, and disgustingly supported by our culture. The only reason why it isn't as bad as racial discrimination is that one can easily hide their orientation, and even have the possibility of changing it (in either direction).But, since they are forced to do either of those two in order to avoid hatred, they are arguably in the worse of the two positions.

I have no intolerance to homosexuals what they do is their own business and none of mine it isn't hurting anyone for them to have the feelings that they do. I think racial discrimination is worse you cant hide a physical thing like race.
And that argument that homosexuals cant reproduce is about the lamest argument there is. I wish people with closed minds were unable to reproduce.

Discrimination is unacceptable in any manner.
The rules in the Bible were written for a reason.
Homosexuals cannot reproduce without intervention.
If you think you can by yourself, you need a refresher in biology. You are not an amoeba.
I do not have intolerance and I make it a point not to discriminate.
However when the point is brought up such as yours it is hard not to argue against your reasoning.
People should accept others for who they are I agree, but that does not mean acceptance of lifestyle manners or behaviour.
That goes for anything in life.

I view both forms of discrimination on the same level. People are people, it doesn't matter who you are attracted to or the color of you skin. Discrimination means you are a second class citizen. It does not make it any difference if you are a white gay man or a black straight man. Gay people do not chose to be gay. Anyone who has really opened their hearts to get to know a gay man or woman on a personal level knows this.

When a person use the measurement to measure, the others will use the same measurement on him or her...

racial discrimination is far worse than sexual...i would like to state that there really is no point in being homo- like sure you love each other and stuff, but isnt the purpose of a man and a woman is so that we can keep the population growing, evolving changing etc...i dont know...never mind..like i accept others decisions and respect them and stuff, i just think its kind of stupid, and i dont believe that a person is born gay-like that is a bunch of bologna, you choose to be gay and that is your deal..its kind of like if you choose to be gay then you have to accept the consequences, the environment and stuff that comes with it-you choose the discrimination and you have to deal with it in your own way...but race-you cant choose what race you are going to be you just cant
i dont know...its kind of hard to write my thoughts down...but i want to make it clear that i dont discriminate, i respect homosexuals and other races...

I am religious, and I believe that discrimination based on sexuality and race are both wrong and malicious. Hatred in the name of God is hatred just the same.

I have to say discrimination based on race is worse, because it's so obvious that they didn't choose who they are. Homosexuals didn't either; it doesn't matter how many times they tell fundies that they didn't choose, the fundies won't believe them.
