yes, we are commanded to love. Love is also one of the common themes in major religions, which is why I don't understand how the major religions can also be used as a tool by nefarious forces to create so much violence. Every major religion has been used as an excuse to hate, torture, and kill. I feel sorry for people that can't see the true purpose of religion which is to love and to forgive.

I think you should love who you know and trust. Of course love your family and friends- if someone has a different faith than you that doesn't mean you should treat them any different. You should take the chance to get to know someone before you decide you don't like them, any person would want the same respect. Its only fair...Don't be small minded- they're are some wonderful people in this world...Don't miss out!

Yes, I believe that all people were made in the image of my Lord and if that is so, then I think it is not only respectful but expected of me to treat others with the love & respect they deserve regardless of their faith and treat them as I would want them to treat me.

Faith is one of the last things I take into consideration when looking at a person. Actions and integrity are far more important. There are "bad people" in every faith and in every walk of life.

Absolutely. We all are One through God. Even though I may think their faith is in error, it makes no difference. If they have found happiness through it, then it is the right faith for them personally. Some souls are more evolved than others.

but of course. why would a person's faith change my feelings for them? My only caveat being that i will not want to be around anyone who thinks their faith makes them superior to me or endlessly try to convert me

i try to be a good person..
I'm Lds/mormon and i have friends that are jehovah's witnesses, catholic, baptists...and i respect their beliefs,i like learning about other peoples religion, culture and stuff..its interesting how different they can be..we have very interesting and informative conversations..
i think its stupid when people arent openminded, you have to respect other's beliefs, cuz you cant just force people to be like you its wrong, but that doesnt mean you can't voice your opinion about things either...everyone should be allowed to voice their opinions and thoughts no matter what the topic

Yes, I truly believe in God, but I understand that other people truly believe in their own gods, whose to say who is really right? The bible has been only interpreted and who knows if the interpretation is correct, I believe it is but...?

I don't give away my "love" that easily. Instead I give everyone the respect deserved as a neutral untill they prove otherwise.
