My hubby has CP. We have been together for 17 years. From what his mom has told me and what i have seen in pics. There was no progressive brain damage. Just the physical lack of the musles being used or not used so use those mucles as much as possible or how ever CP works the best. Sorry i dont know I only have epilepsy.

The extent of brain damage will stay the same.

But the symptoms may worsen with age simply because people with CP are affected by the same joint issues as anyone else.
