My question is does your desire for GOD have to be greater than lack of will and hoping GOD alone will change what you are asking for?

In a program that was on homosexuals who state they are now heterosexual after finding hope and power from GOD and the Holy Spirit, one thing they said is that they desired to please GOD first before anything else including thier sexual orientation, they also said the homosexuals who did not find change with GOD when they asked to be converted, did not want to please GOD first, they wanted GOD to change them with the lack of desire in pleasing GOD before anything else.

Do you agree with this?

Sin is the desire to please the flesh over pleasing God (Jesus).God can help someone stop drinking, smoking, hating others, stealing and yes even help them desire what is normal (someone of the opposite sex which is the only way to procreate).

The Bible says that God has given us everything we need for life and godliness (2 Peter 1:3). Freedom is found in the gospel because it is through the power of Jesus Christ that we can die to the sinful nature (Romans 6) and become new creations (2 Corinthians 5:17). When made new in Christ, we must continue to walk in faith in what Christ has done in us and the power of the Holy Spirit in order to continue to overcome sin in our lives. The Christian has been made a new person, but they need to keep walking in this. I think the problem with people who do not change is sometimes like of desire, but more often lack of understanding of the gospel. A lot of times the person does not understand the full power of Christ to change the life, and they believe the lie that they can't really change. So they continue to live in sin, despite claiming to be set free. The one who is saved has been saved from the power of sin, and the Christian needs to understand this. Desiring to serve God above all else is the root of this victory. As long as we desire to serve the flesh, or continue to give in to these desires, we will not live lives pleasing to God. The Christian life is a life of total surrender. "However, I consider my life worth nothing to me, if only I may finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me - the task of testifying to the gospel of God's grace" (Acts 20:24).

The early Bishops considered it maximum in all probability that the Holy Spirit is uncreated which immediately makes Him God as a individual. Even people who declare that the Holy Spirit isn't a individual seem to agree that the Holy Spirit acts independently and exteriorly for that reason indicating the Holy Spirit is separate and different lots interior a similar way Jesus is a separate and different individual. In different words, we are waiting to bump into the Holy Spirit does act one after the different in scripture, and as as uncreated, turns right into a separate individual from Jesus and the father.
