Everyone is telling me that there is no parking at Secaucus. I saw that on the NJ Transit website, or else I would not ask this question here. Can anyone answer what is the closest place I can park such that I can walk to the station and ride the train from there? Is there any parking within walking distance from there? Thank you.

Secaucus is just a transfer station. Your best bet is to park your car at another train station. Newark is probably the closest, but I wouldnt trust my car there for anything. NJ Transit's website has a map of the whole system, and what lines their on. Check it out for a station closer to where your coming from.

Secaucus is not a train station but a transfer station. There is no parking there. You simply switch from one line to another there.

NJ Transit is very very similar to SEPTA interior of reach Rail. it incredibly is a commuter practice. lots of the stations have merchandising machines that sell the tickets. You enter your practise, put in funds or slide your card, and out pop tickets. there's no person to even verify identity once you purchase. once you get on the practice, you provide the conductor your cost ticket. No identity needed there the two.
