I've read the laws and know the legal limit. I'm originally from new jersey then moved to ohio and had it inspected there and it passed. Now i recently moved to PA and I know they are real strict on their laws. But i have read that the inspections stations cant reject you even if your tint exceeds the legal limit. But that Penndot told the PA state police to enforce the law if they catch any1 on the highways.

The following tint is ILLEGAL IN PENNSYLVANIA!
Limo or blackout tint
Tint which does not meet current PA Inspection Regulations
Tint that violates Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard
Tint which prevents a person from seeing the inside of the vehicle!
Tint which has less than 25 - 30% transmittance.

I think PA is like most other states and limits it to 30%.

I'm pretty sure 5% will pass...the windows on my car are tinted and they pass here just fine.
