-Eggs
-Chicken/Steak
-Yogurt
-Salad
-Veggies
-Bacon
-LOTS OF WATER
-Energy drinks
-Stews
-Cheese
Ect..

Just basically low fat/carbs, & NO junk food or soda's!

The key to any diet is whether or not you can stick to it for a long duration to make any difference in your weight.

This diet sounds like South Beach'ish.. meaning you like ALOT of water and TONS meat and cheese....
More protein less carbs.. the only issue is the phase where your body is getting used to less carbs.. and you will
get MAD cravings.. you will have no energy..
you will be tired.. this takes about two weeks.

I did something like this diet.. limiting it to 2000 calories a day and limiting sugar to complex sugars within veggies and fruits/nuts. I lost 25 pounds.. but I also worked out alot..
(weights and running).. but it was rough and hardly maintainable if you like to go out.. and have a good time on the weekends.. Beer-thirty is a diet killer..

One meal aint gonna work.. you're body will get used to the small meals and the large meal will make you crash (sleepy, etc)

And Water is ok.. but excessive water can rob your body of potassium, and salt.. which can actually hurt you in the long run.. drink a good amount of water.. eat protein in the morning (it will make you eat less for lunch) and have smaller meals.. 1-2cup portions.. caloric intake less than 1600..
exercise and you'll lose at least 1-2 pounds a week.

Hope that helps.
Ive been an athlete all my life.. trainer.. All American NCAA decathlete.. tried it all :P

Well, I'll tell you right now one thing: you're not losing any weight on that diet. That is basically the Atkins diet, which is a proven failure. Hell, the guy who created that diet was obese and died of heart disease. Honestly, though, WHAT you eat isn't nearly as important as how much of it you eat. Skip the "one meal a day" idea, because it doesn't work. It just makes you snack too much. Just keep your meals small. Don't eat too much meat and cheese. You want some, but keep it on the light side, keeping them down to one serving a meal. Increase your veggie intake. Go ahead and add breads and grains to your diet, just don't go crazy with it. Stay away from the energy drinks altogether. And get a lot of exercise! That is the best diet, and the healthiest. Will you lose weight fast? Probably not, but you will lose it permanently, rather than in an unhealthy way that will likely just come back. For more information, I highly recommend discussing this with your doctor. Good luck!

p.s. Anyone who honestly thinks that carbs are the problem with obese people is nuts. You really think that getting rid of bread is going to make you lose weight? Hardly. That is why the FDA still puts grains at the top of their list with vegetables. Eliminating sugars is important, but if you take grain and bread out of your diet, you are going to be taking a lot of fiber pills, as well as dying from cancer later on in life from losing the anti-oxidants that grain provides. Like I said, don't go crazy with it, but don't eliminate it from your diet. That is not the answer.

Forget dieting I eat like a horse and I only weigh nine stone. This is what works for me: Eat regularly, if possible every three hours, when your body realises that it's getting a regular supply of food it increases it's metabolism, burning calories quicker and is much less likely to store calories as fat. When eating try to eat a lot of high protein foods and don't go too hard on the carbs. Try go easy on trans and saturated fats although you are allowed the odd treat. Drink lots of water! At least one gallon per day. Tea, coffee and fizzy drinks are O.K but they don' count towards your overall water intake. As for exercise I do some light weight training four days a week and cardiovascular (I use a rowing machine) two days a week with one days rest. There is a common belief that doing cardiovascular exercise on an empty stomach helps burn calories. This is absolute rubbish do not do it. Weight training is a good idea as muscle tissue burns a lot of energy, even while you sleep. You don't have to become Mr/Mrs universe but any fat tissue which you can convert to muscle tissue will not only make you look better but increase your metabolism. Getting plenty of sleep is also important when trying to build muscle. Good Luck

A low/no carb diet is good. It worked very well for me. If you cut out carbs altogether you won't have to limit yourself to one meal a day. All you have to do is eat meats, eggs, cheese, and there are certain green vegetables that are low/no carb as well, and diet soda is carb-free. You can eat when you want if you have no carbs at all. It worked for me, I lost a little over 20 pounds in a month or so. It doesn't work for everyone, I'd check with your doctor first, because a no carb diet can be high in salt and not good for your blood pressure. But if you're healthy, then it should work if your strict and stick to it! Good luck, I know that losing weight can be a hard stuggle.

everything on that list is good exepct the energy drink, you will be better off drinking either lemonade or Gatorade and power aid, remember this sugar will defeat your purpose of what ever your fitness goal is, also the bacon bits you want to be careful with, a little bit is OK, but consume sparingly, because bacon period, unless you indulge into Turkey bacon, is very high in saturated fat, which of course is the type of fat you want to enjoy, but you do want to consume some fat, just make sure its not saturated or a mono saturated, also as far as the sugar, you can consume a Little, but i suggest natural sugars, like honey , and last but not least you need to eat theree meals a day, if you dont, it will slow down your matabolism yes you will loose weight with 1 meal a day, but however you will loose it too fast and will gain it back even faster and easeir than before you should make it three small meals a day and snack on healthy things like fresh friuts and veggies, i hope this helps you out,if you got more questions you can just email me.

Everyone's body is different, and everyone reacts differently to the different stresses that are laid upon them. For me, I eat hamburgers, snacks, chocolates, pastas, breads, etc... ALL the time, I never exercise and I'm 145lbs (5'10"). Been the same weight since freshman year in highschool, i'm now a junior in college.

But for the most part, if you're burning more carbohydrates and calories then you are taking in, you "should" lose weight. But just because you are losing weight, that doesn't mean you are healthy. In otherwords, you can be 20lbs "overweight" and yet be extremely healthy. Just follow a regular diet routine, eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, exercise regularly, have your ocassional pie/icecream, and you will be happy with your body, the way you feel, and your physical appearance.

If it was me, I would only want to eat three meals a day and not snack at all during the day- I find giving my stomach time to rest allows me to lose weight. Make sure you only eat what you absolutely need at meal times! Good luck!

It looks like you have a good set up of diet content but instead of just one big meal a day and the rest snacking you should really spread your routine out into five small meals a day where two of which would be considered light snacks. this way it spreads out your calorie intake for the day and gives your body a more consistent intake of nutrients.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO you need to research babe! OK first of all no bacon or steak only lean meat.. if you eat meat. Also you need to eat three.. no one. THREE meals a day or your going to gain weight... if you don't know why by now you should. Also, you should exorcise and don't eat after 7 pm. The only thing you got right was lots of water

I think it's good. Snacking all day is good to help keep your metabolism up! I ate fruit for breakfast and lunch and then ate whatever my mom made for dinner. I lost 16 lbs doing this without exercising. One of my favorite things to eat is frozen blueberries with whip cream!! Satisfies me like ice cream!
