scripture doesn't say God will never destroy the earth. It says He will never destroy the earth with a flood.

In revelation, we are told the earth will eventually be destroyed by fire. After which Jesus will set up a New Jerusalem (built in heaven) which will be placed here on earth and in which His people will enjoy a 1000 year reign. Jesus will create a new heaven and a new earth.

I'm not sure that I agree with your premise that the earth will not be destroyed. At the very least, the Bible speaks of the destruction of everything on earth by fire: "But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare." 2 Peter 3:10-11

This is interesting to me in light of the claims of global warning and the destruction of the earth. However, Jesus goes further: "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. Revelation 21:1-3

Jesus in the Revelation does agree that heaven will be on earth where God will reign and live among his people.

I'm not quite certain exactly what you're asking, but if it's what I think it is, we don't know yet. There will be new scrolls opened that I'm sure will lead us and explain all. Revelations doesn't give us the picture from any further than Satan and his legion being sentenced to the Lake of Fire and there being all lovers and worshipers of Jehovah here on earth. One thing we CAN count on is that the world of then will certainly be a different one than this one! No greed, death, hunger, disease, pain... doesn't it sound wonderful? :)

it says in the bible that the earth and everything on it will be destroyed by fire... the new jerusalem will be up in heaven.
however, there'll be a 1000 year kingdom of peace on earth during which satan will be banished.

supposedly, well at least that is what i heard. But you must remember, nothing, i repeat, nothing lasts forever. The sun is slowly getting bigger, the chance that a comet crashes into us is growing with each day, and the weather patterns are worsening. This planet will not last forever, and if heaven is supposed to come here, then heaven will not last forever either.

I do not believe in this theory. Satan is symbolic for mortal mans thoughts and actions. Earth will return to its original paradise state when mortal mans rein has ended and a Christ-like spiritual conscientiousness prevails. Call it Armageddon. the war between Spiritual man and Mortal man.

Pretty much on earth but after 1000 years He lets Satan out of Hell for round three,

round one thrown out of heaven,
round two caste into th fire for 1000 years
round three he takes it out of hell and I think finally destorys him.
