My goal is to always be ready to give. Even if I don't particularly feel like it. Love is more of an action than a feeling anyway, and if God hadn't loved us even though he detests our sin we'd all go straight to hell without being given a choice.

love is actually an elemental ingredient, like air is in the material world. Many people see it as an action, but it's actually as necessary for life as air and water are. So, that being the case, we need to make sure that we are always loving or else we will become bitter and wither and die.
