I believe LCD's work better at high elevation.

An LCD panel TV or a CRT Projection TV will not suffer/degrade at higher Altitudes....

A plasma or LCD or DLP PROJECTION TV set can be affected as the Plasma's Display is pressurized, as is the LAMPS in LCD and DLP Projectors....they may fail prematurely due to the High pressure (1000 lb/sq in) bulbs in them, plus the heat isn't absorbed as well into the atmosphere.....
