First of all, let me say that I am non-denominational and I can respect everybody's opinion. I just get a little confused when I read posts on here where people say there isn't a God. There isn't a heaven. There isn't a hell. Me personally, I know that God is real. In 1995, I was hit by a semi-truck on the freeway and it totalled my car. I was on a bridge when this happened and I can clearly remember the car almost being tossed over the bridge, but the guardrail was there. I remember seeing my entire life flash before my eyes. I could see imagines of me, my parents, my brother and other family members. There were no words, but just images of things that had happen in my life up until that point. When all of the action finally slowed down, I saw that both airbags had came out and the car was demolished. I walked out of the car with no broken bones and no cuts and bruises. I was a little shooken up and I had some fine glass particles on me, but that's it. But God isn't real?

I like your question! The bible states that only the fool has said in his heart that there is no God. The Lord holds all men accountable as He has stated that they are without excuse because creation everywhere evidences the existence of Himself. I have heard people state that the Bible was written by men and therefore could not possible be accurate. The Bible was written by approximately 44 different men however it had only one author who was the Lord Himself as we are told that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. We note that in the book of Job in the Old Testament in Chapter 26 and verse 7 where the bible states that the earth is suspended and hangs from nothing. Only an all knowing Creator would have known that some 3,500 years ago! It was only a few hundred years ago that man discovered the world is round.
I read your story of survival and have also heard other stories which have ended with the survivor turning to the Lord. He will use all manner of means to bring a person to Himself through Jesus as He is nor willing that any should go to hell but that all should be saved.
I wish you well in your Christian walk and may the Lord bless you in all you do!

fact is that allot of folk have likely attacked and promoted the Bible, so i'm going to spare you the drudgery. (i'm a Bible believing Christian, so take what I say with a grain of salt. i understand and admit I also have a bias) the top I got here to became that the Universe is purely too complicated for success to be the reason. It makes extra experience (to me) that each little thing became created via an eternal being particularly than organic threat. I advise, some thing must be eternal suitable? The organic rationalization for faith is (back it is my opinion) human nature searching for out its writer, different religions and whatnot are a purely the effect of non secular conflict. If the Bible is real, then there are demons accessible who prefer to steer us off track, why does no longer they make fake solutions? i'm hoping you proceed your seek for the respond and don't supply into senseless hate. forget with reference to the detest, discover the fact.

Wonderful that you found a religion that works for you. However, I just don't believe in god. I don't think that you surviving a car crash (glad to hear that you're alive though) is proof of god. I just don't believe. Not enough evidence to convince me. How did humans get here? Millions of years of evolution. Where did the origin of life come from? Abiogenesis.

Not to say that these theories may change in the future, but right now, they're on the right track and are treated as scientific fact. Having looked at the evidence, I think science has the right idea.

Nobody knows, and that's the point. Religions only exist to explain things, and they don't have any basis whatsoever.
As for your near death experience thing, a) it almost certainly was the psychological ride that made you see flashes of your life. b) A.I.R.B.A.G.S. they save lives. Also, if you were wearing a seatbelt that would have helped too. It wasn't exactly amazing that you came out of it without any cuts.

I have no idea life got here. Evolution sounds like reasonable theory to me for how humans came about.

No, I don't "believe" in evolution.

That's a nice story, but don't you ever think that you just got lucky? One time I was driving across train tracks, and there were no flashing lights, but there was a train coming, and I really just barely crossed in time. A split second later, I would have been hit.

In my opinion: Reality is infinite necessary mathematics (necessary logical truth ). Within that vast infinite mathematics a tiny fraction is isomorphic to the big bang space-time we observe around us. That fraction is selected by our existence.

Within one tiny region of that space-time we evolved.

The fact you are alive is NOT a miracle. In fact if you were dead and came in here then that would be a miracle. In an infinite mathematical multiverse there are an infinite number of copies of you and you will always find yourself surviving. You will never be able to observe your own death.

FYI, no one who has no belief in sky fairies cares very much if you are denominational or not. You still live your life under the delusion that some all knowing invisible creature is watching your every move.

Ludicrous.

I'm glad you escaped the accident with no injuries. But it was science that saved you. Where was God when that bridge collapsed?
