Why do Americans have trouble using the English Language?

Is it a lack of basic education or inbreeding?

I'm sick of trying to answer questions from Americans who cannot spell and or use incorrect words to try in their feeble attempts to put their point or question across.

Most of their questions could be answered by using a simple search engine and most of the rest should be sorted out first with their other juvenile playground friends.

Is it any wonder people like myself take advantage of your bad grammar and spelling to give us a laugh?

Your question is very interesting. I'm American, but speak French fluently. When I go to the French site, I see the same types of mistakes being made by French questioners. I guess that part of it is laziness and part is the desire to communicate with others. It's more fun to ask a question than to look up the answer. We wouldn't have Yahoo Answers if everyone simply used a search engine to answer their questions.
I just read the information on your profile and saw many grammatical and punctuation errors, not to mention spelling errors: "I'm quiet old..." instead of "I'm QUITE old," to name just one error.

Why is it that people like you ask these stupid questions?
When will Europe realize that Americans don't speak the exact same English as you?
I see tons of questions posted on here as to why Americans spell things differently, or say things differently, and talk differently.
Get over it.......no need to get you're panties in a bunch because we've spoken our own dialects for hundreds of years now.
If you hate us so much, don't converse with us.
Why do so many Europeans pride themselves on "proper english?" Is it because the language has been transformed in so many ways that you feel like you're losing it?
Don't worry, it's still the most widely used form of speech on the planet today.

If you mean people from the USA, I think it is lack of basic education. President Ronald Reagan said that the teaching of english was bad in the schools. It looks like it is worse nowadays.
I have had the astonishing experience ( I am a professor ) of Anglo students asking ME, THE FOREIGNER , how to say something in THEIR language. I could not believe it

There are people like this everywhere; the UK, Japan, etc.
