The secret to weight loss is to eat less and move more.

Try walking or jogging regularly and some weight lifting. Dancing is also great exercise, so turn up the music and dance!

I would suggest eating fruits and salads, and count calories. I lost 30 pounds by moderately exercising like walking and some basic pilates. I ate a lot of fruit and salads with very little dressing. For a snack, try 100 cal packs, they aren't bad and are easy to take with you. I also ate a lot of lean cuisine and healthy choice frozen meals. They don't tast that great, but they have little calories and are easy.

Good luck!

I lost weight by eating a lot of fruit. I lost 16 lbs without exercising! Now I have to exercise because I am at a plateau, but really...fruit is HEALTHY and it has a lot of fiber and helps fight against fat! I ate fruit for breakfast and lunch. And I ate A LOT of it. Don't count the calories in fruit. It's too healthy for you to worry about calories in fruit and veggies. I slimmed down in my thighs, hips, arms, and a tiny bit in my stomach. So fruit will definitly help with flab. As far as exercises go, walk a lot, and do lunges everyday. It's tones your thighs and butt. I can't really help with the belly part because I have tried everything and nothing seems to work. I used to do like 400-500 crunches a day and nothing happened....UNTIL I ate fruit. Once I started eating fruit, my stomach shrunk a little. So to help with body shaping....eathing healthy takes a large part. Don't eat a lot of fat. I hope this helps! :)

find daily calorie intake calculator on the net, enter all your stats and it will tell you how many calories you need a day to maintain, take off 300-400cal off that number and thats how much you need to lose.
eat 5-6 small meals a day (eat every 2-3 hours - it optimizes your metabolism)
5-8 servings of fruit and veggies a day
8 glasses of water
have complex carbs for breakfast - they give you energy
have protein (lean meat, legumes etc) for dinner - repairs muscle
cardio is the only fat burning exercise and burns fat all over your body (running, jogging, swimming, spinning, elliptical etc) 4-6 times a week for 30-50min (ideally 45min because the first 20-30min body burns carbs and only then starts burning fat), weight training a few days a week but never work on the same muscle group two days in a row (more muscle=faster metabolism)
dont consume foods that are made of white flour (white bread, cakes, pasta etc.), sugar loaded foods (cookies, icecream, candy etc) and nothing fried, oily.
ofcourse you can spoil yourself once in a while with a little treat:)
