How in the world do i get pumped up for this afternoons practice. Ever since this mornings practice I have been just counting down the time till they can work us to death again. I know that I have to work hard if I want this, but is there anything i can do to look forward to it, or to get a little more pumped about it?

Michael Jordan said that when he was having trouble getting motivated, he'd imagine there was someone watching who he wanted to impress who had never seen him play before. Maybe try that. Who would you most want to impress with your athletic skill? Imagine that person is watching you practice.

Look at all the great exercise and healthy benefits you get from the practices! And how you are getting better at whatever it is you are practicing for!

Think about the end result, think about the rush of adrenaline, think about something fun you can do after practice.

Try takin a nap. When you wake up it'll be like a new day, and maybe yer enthusiasm will be renewed.
