According to the Hebrew scriptures, Jehovah passed Abraham's inheritance on to his miracle child Isaac. According to the Koran, "Allah" passed the inheritance to Abraham's illegitimate child Ishmael.
According to the Hebrew scriptures, the descendants of Ishmael (Arabs/Muslims) would be a wild, violent people who would live in an area surrounding the descendants of Isaac (Jews), and they would be against them.
And so it is today.
The Hebrew scriptures were written long before the Koran and they have never been altered. In fact the entire Bible, New and Old Testament, was compiled before Islam ever came into existence. The purpose of Islam, according to the Koran, is to "correct" the "errors" of Judaism and Christianity, and to dominate the world by any means necessary.

Oh - my only difference was that Jehovah of the Old Testament is Jesus Christ and that Allah of the Koran is like God the Father to Christians.

i'm one among Jehovah's Witnesses. I persist with the Christ as my religious chief. All my ideals are based on the bible, and not on guy-made doctrines nor individuals that are according to pagan or mythological religions. Pagan and mythological ideals such because of the fact the trinity and hellfire. Matthew sixteen:13-sixteen John 20:30,31 Psalm 80 3:18 Deuteronomy 6:4 Jeremiah 7:31 Revelation 20:14 Romans 6:23

The term "Allah" simply means "the [one] god", implying a single Almighty deity reminiscent of the Judeo-Christian "Yahweh" / "Jehovah". However, it is significant that "Allah" is clearly NOT a personal name, while the Hebrew Tetragrammaton clearly *IS* a personal name for Almighty God.
It's not exactly wrong to call the Almighty by the impersonal "God", just as it's not wrong to call one's offspring "Child". Faithful men of the Holy Scriptures used both "God" and a form of "Jehovah" when they referred to and addressed the Almighty. However, the term "Allah" seems intended specifically to reject Judeo-Christian spiritual heritage.
If we want a familiar and close relationship, it makes sense to use the personal name of someone we love. The Scriptures encourage us to use God's personal name.
The Hebrew name “Yahweh” (or “Yehowah”) does seem to accurately pronounce the divine name. Just as the Hebrew name “Yeshua” (or “Yehoshua”) is translated into “Jesus” in English, the Hebrew name “Yahweh” is translated into “Jehovah” in English.
The important thing is to use God’s personal name in whatever language you speak, rather than insisting upon the impersonal! The name “Yahweh” is certainly preferable to the non-name “God” or “Lord”, especially if you speak Hebrew. If you speak English, feel free to use the name "Jehovah".
(Psalms 83:18) That people may know that you, whose name is Jehovah, You alone are the Most High over all the earth
(John 17:26) [Jesus said] I have made your name known to them and will make it known, in order that the love with which you loved me may be in them

As you can see the Muslims deny the Sonship of Jesus Christ. They deny that Jesus is God, and that he has made the covering for sin. (1 John 2:1)
By the Biblical definitions, the Muslims that believe this are:
1) antichrist ( lowercase) in that they deny that Jesus is Lord
( 1 John 2:22; 1 John 4:3)
2) Not covered for their sins.
( Romans 8:1; Romans 8:9)
3) Speaking lies.
( John 8:54 - 55)
The "Allah" of the Muslims ( Arabic Christian Bibles call God "Allah" too, though obviously are not lying about Him in the Arabic Bible) , denies Christ. This to many knowledgeable Christians is one of the major lies that Satan preaches. And it is VERY convenient for the Muslims as a group to believe that Jesus is to be denied the Godhood, the obvious divinity that He Himself thought it NOT robbery to claim about Himself.
( Philippians 2:6 ; John 10:30)
So the Muslims by Biblical standards are liars, not delivered from their sins, and antichrist in that their attitude is to follow after a false god they name "Allah". The attributes of that god they call "Allah", from the book they call the Qua 'ran, teaches them to lie about God.
I hope that details it enough for you.

The God of the bible has a son, Jesus Christ, who died on a cross, rose again, and is the only way to salvation.
Islam denies that Allah has a son. Islam denies that Jesus died on a cross. Islam denies that Jesus is the only way to salvation.
Islam teaches that Jesus was merely a prophet, not even as important as Mohammed.
Therefore, "Allah" is not the God of the bible, and Mohammed is not a true prophet of the God of the bible.

Allah is just arabic for God.
I think many here are missing the point. The question is not about jesus. It is like asking what the difference between ahura mazda and osiris
the answer is that both are the god's of their respective religions be they monotheistic or polytheistic.
The question did not ask what is different about the faith and who had a kid.

Jehovah the Almighty God and his first creation Jesus Christ created this earth and the people and everything on it.
That religion centers around a paradise earth with loving people who care about each other no racists, no hate, no murder and the earth is turned into a paradise.
When the dead who are wicked become dust that the wind blows away. No heaven or hell but life in a paradise where there is no war, no famine, so sickness and no death.
In learning about the Muslim believe it seems to center around fear of hell and the demons. How to die and avoid the worst fate possible. Sex is a big part of their life from multiple wives to the Almighty createing for martyrs 72 big eyed virgins in heaven where they lay along side a stream of water and have sex almost without stopping. In among the flowers. As God supplies them more virgins every day and removes the ones he has had before.
Those who are cowards go into the river of puss and are totured by having tongues pulled out and other body parts ripped off. All of the worst things that can happen to you happens in hell, there is different stages and the most women can hope for is a higher stage of hell.
Those who do go to heaven she said, "don't have to have sex anymore." Sex to women in that culture I felt like they feel it is more a punnishment than something they want to do.
It is more something to be endured like being burried with just your head out and having men stone your head to death.
Suffering in this life will get you into a higher stage of hell.
But to those I talked to it was more a fear of punnishment than a reward for good.

There were just two tribal Gods, and people are still blinded to worship them.
If you do not believe me open some books and do some independent research, do not just listen to what christians or muslims apologetics have been feeding to the followers of those religions.
