hes vomiting, watery diahrrea, or however u spell that, and he is just sitting there. dont get me wrong, we took him 2 the emergency center last night, he spent the nite, now were taking him 2 the vet, which we were @ earlier, and we hav 2 go bak @ 4. he DOES hav more than 1 kind of parasite, i know for sure, hes pooping them out all the time, and we dont know what else it could be that is making him this sick. he was tested 4 parvo, negative, but our vet said it will take another couple of days to confirm the answer. so i would really like to know what he could have wrong. he has a clear discharge coming out of his eye. i havent seen him vomit yet, but hes having uncontrollable constant diahrrea, and its like water, and the worms are coming out with it. he had to b on an IV @ the ER. so they didnt figure out yet what it is, but our vet said the problem goes farther than parasites. HELP!?!

It could be a number of things. Something as simple as food poisoning, or something not so simple like Distemper.

At any rate keep a close eye on hm and get him to the vet as quick as you can.
It might be his food is bad or he has allergies, or maybe the worms are sickening him. Don't worry too much, your vet will know the answer!

How can anyone here tell you what he has without the tests? You are impatient I know. You will just have to wait to hear from the doctor, but it isn't parvo so that is great news, that would have been the worse news. He could have lots of parasites and some of them are just more difficult to get rid of that is probably all it is. He could have a sensitive tummy and ate something that gave him pancreatitis, that is awful too but not deadly. You must be so worried but you need to stay calm and trust the doctors OK? Those worms will be gone in no time. Trust the doctor. Always go to the vet right away. You should always trust who you got the puppy from and if you don't go to the vet immediately and get them tested. This is an expensive and emotional lesson but You will be fine and so will your puppy. God bless.

You're not going to find a vet on here.

No one on here is a professional, or particularly helpful when it comes to medical issues.

Even vets can't 'figure out' illnesses just like that. Tests need to be conducted and results need to be waited for. In the meantime, not knowing exactly what the illness is does not stop it being treated. It could be a virus, or a bacterial infection - pups have very sensitive stomachs.

Just keep working with the vets and don't waste any more time on here.

Ok well I have a dog so I know alot. But really you cant do anything. Just wait for the vet. But if he gets worse take to a dog ER or the vet. He isn't going to die, buddy!

Seems like the Vet should be able to identify exactly what kind of worms they are and be done with it. Poor guy. He sounds really sick. Good luck.

Well, you have taken the dog to the vet - thank goodness! Just keep an eye on him now and make sure he is getting plenty of fluids.

parvo is my first thought.. could also be coccocidia

encourage fluids! Very important! Puppies with diareah often die from dehydration rather than the disease thats causing it.
