how many wins do both need to get into the top ten to go for the Nextel cup?

Junior will definitely have a win if he can stop blowing up his engines. I don't think Kahne has a chance. Too bad, I really liked him too.

Neither will win a race this season, but if one does it will be Dale Jr, There is no way Kahne will make the chase even of he wins every race from here till richmond, Jr to get 100 points in 4 races is tough he will need to win atleast 1 or 2 races which I doubt he can do

Ok I think if Dei will put out better engines so they stop blowing up,Jr may have a chance.Also I thin Kaseys turn will come around and he will get one too.Evernham needs to figure out whats goin on with Kasey, Riggs and Sadler's cars.If anything get some new engine people or sumthing.The same with Jrs team.Ah is Jr doesnt win this yr,he will get it next yr with Hendrick.Wouldnt it be great if he came straight from DEI and won Daytona in Feb? That'd be great revenge to his momma.Save the 8!

No... Neither will get a win this year, and neither will make the CHASE. Jr's chances are all but completely gone after another expired engine @ the GLEN. Kahne needs to find a new race team, or get assurance from Ray that everything is on the up, and up... Something has to change over there, and I don't think this merger is going to be enough. It's just step one to a large process of changes that need to happen.

I think Jr. still has a chance at making the chase. He's only 100 points out of it with 4 races left. If his car holds together and he starts finishing in the Top 10 again he should be fine, he'll need Bush and Newman to start blowing it though.
Unfortunately there's now way in heck Kahne will make the Chase. Of course there's always a 'chance' but realistically it's not going to happen. He's had a tough year and I don't think it's going to get much better here at the end of the season. I don't think he'll grab a win before the Chase starts, although I'd love him too, he is my favorite driver.
Hopefully with Gillet, and if they can ink Budweiser toKahne's car they should have a good chunk of cash to make his car a contender again next year.

I have no hope for Kasey Kahne (poor creepy everham boy)
he is just a pretty boy who all the girls of all ages,( who know nothing about racing )like. They just like the way he looks, what ever, and for Dale Jr. He is saving all his wins for next year when he's a Hendricks boy F--k Theresa.she don;t deserve s--t.

kasey kahne is done because if your out of the top 19
you wouldnt even make it if you won evry race in the chase ant the 4 before the chase...dale jr has mabey a tiny chance

Maybe Jr will, he has come close! I don't think Kasey Kahne will though he is having a real bad year. Next year both drivers should have better seasons and both will have at least one win!

i hope both win at least 1 race but it dont look good as for the chase theres no chance kahne can get in and dale jr being 100 points behind 12th the final cut off spot its not likely hes gonna get in this year either

Dale Jr has more of a fighting chance over Kahne. Evernham as an organization is having a very very rough season.
