I got stung nine days ago and I still have swollen red bumps, and it's extrememly itchy. I've put meat tenderizer and wet sand on it but it seems to get better and worsen repeatedly. I know of other cremes and home remedies but isn't it bad that it's lasting this long? Sharp pains come and go a few times a day also. Help?

Pour vodca on it, it cleans out any germs and neutralizes the sting.

Try voodka on your hand. it helps a lot. And you really should go to the doctor if it still didn't heal. And, some jellyfish have a poison that eats your muscles away. So huuuuurrrrryyyyy!!!

they say that jelly stings can heal over time. to get rid of the pain, just applie some everyday toothpaste over the swollan bump, and the pain should be at ease. Also, you can put so plain dough on it for releif that lasts longer. I prefriblly luse the toothpaste b/c its more affective.
hope it helps

Well, you can't be in that bad shape if you're able to spend time on the 'net instead of seeing a doctor, but, by all means, check-out the links, below.

Regular household vinegar will help. Pour some in a bowl and soak the affected area.
