It is because they have difficulty understanding the concept that it would be UNJUST to condemn someone to an eternity of hellfire for the sins of a finite life and understanding. Therefore, their concept of God, salvation, and the afterlife is as an unjust demon or monster. They must serve Satan in all actuality.

confident. yet to no longer perfection, even however as quickly as a guy or woman is reborn it particularly is actual a threat. If it weren't, He in no way might have pronounced to realize this. the situation is two-fold. First, the "church homes" now no longer coach that we can, yet that we gained't (which isn't biblical), so human beings do no longer attempt. Secondly, that's not approximately perfection as much as physique of ideas. as a procedures with the aid of fact the actaul instructions flow, there are basically 10. Why is it no longer ordinary to maintain 10 rules. what number rules do you have on your city? Do you preserve them or are you a ordinary violator? See the variation?

Your question is a superficial one. Obviously, there is more than one kind of love. Romantic love, parental love, fraternal love, etc. They are all "love" but are also not the same. You didn't even begin to explore what it means to "love" another human being. Do you want those who love you to ONLY tell you what you want to hear, to NEVER let you know when your life has taken a bad turn...such as staging an intervention for a loved one with a drug or alcohol habit? The person whose life is being examined never finds it a pleasant experience, but that doesn't change the love and concern of the family trying to bring a drug addict or alcoholic back from the brink. So when I, as a Christian, tell you that there are consequences to being disobedient to God's plan and purpose for your life, I'm showing you love and concern. I very well understand that you may reject my message. That doesn't relieve me of the responsibility to show that love by speaking the truth.

He also said "Love your enemies." He knew that we would not have people around us who loved us back. If you love others but don't believe in Jesus Christ as your savior then fire and brimstone is your reward. What you see is the far right, if you don't believe the same as they then you are going to hell. I am 65 years old and I still like car chases, some documentaries are so boring I would rather have my teeth pulled.

You are a very naive person. You will always be naive because you have no will to learn the things about what you ask. Fire and brimstone preaching goes hand in hand with "love each other'. It all comes from the same source. One does not preach "fire and brimstone" out of hate, but out of love. You ask this question not to gain knowledge, but to try and ridicule those who would tell you how to obtain salvation. Shame.

What is love? Love in the bible is different than worldly love. Love doesnt find any joy in unrighteousness. We are to love one another and it is love that compells me to tell people there is a way to be saved from hell and it is easy and wonderful and God has a wonderful plan for us. Hell is a reality, to hide it does no one any good and Jesus talked about hell as well. No one wants you or anyone to go to hell and God is very patient with people not wanting anyone to go there. The offer for eternal life is for all people. It is mature to talk about all aspects of life including heaven and hell and all of the bible and you will find that most pastors talk about all of it... Genesis to Revelation.

Yes, they do.
And that's why the Christian religion is in some pretty rough waters, and why religions such as Wicca and Buddhism are the fastest-growing religions today.
I would suggest that you bring this up at your next church gathering, and make it a mission to put the true word of Jesus back into Christianity.
And make sure there isn't anymore Jerry Falwell's/Pat Robertson's to embarrass the Christian religion by making blatent fools of themselves- on national T.V.

The greatest love you can show to a lost person is the state of their soul. To do this you must first get them to understand why they are lost.
They have broken God's moral law and will stand in judgment before God if they do not repent of their sin and seek God's forgiveness.
God doesn't want anyone to spend eternity in Hell, that's why He sent Jesus. To show us the way to God the Father was through repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. That by His shed blood we can have remission of sins and eternal life in Christ our LORD.
If all you ever tell someone is that God loves them how will they ever know of the wrath to come upon all who do not repent? God has called all men (and women and children) to repent of their sin and believe on the name of Jesus Christ that they may be saved.
Lead them to understand why they need a Savior, and then tell them of the great and awesome love of the LORD our God in Christ Jesus.

Nice speech.
God is LOVE...but those who work against him, and His children, do not get a passing grade to get into heaven like lazy people believe.
The reason that jarring FIRE and "brimstone" message, about the emmergency of "avoiding hell", is not offesnsive to christian believers, is that we ARE giving sinners LOVE (in the only way that makes sense to us) ... it is called "tough love".
do you spoil your children, like fruit gets spoiled, because you love them so much that you let "nature take it's course"???
Is it "love" to let foolish young children run in front of speeding cars, so we will not be guilty of patting their bum to teach them survival techniques, because Dr Spock (whose grandson committed suicide) says so?
Is it love to teach your young daughter to hop into any stranger's car, because you believe in love, and feel all "discrimination" is evil?
Is it love to pat your children on the back, because you care so much for them, emotionally, as they run toward the cliff of their imminent destruction?
Fundamentalists are standing there saying FIRE ahead!!! this is not unloving!!

The same man who said love one another also said he was God and that everything in the Old Testament about hating is true.
