If you have leg cramps, taking vitamin E and calcium would help.
If it's a constant sharp pain, or a sharp/burning kind of pain, you need to see a doctor, it might actually be from a pinched nerve in your low back.

Vitamin E at least 400 units calcium and fish oil.

Your body needs to remain in a state of homeostasis and by drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day that provides your body with a lubricant that it needs. Also stretching everyday, make sure when you are stretching that your muscles are warm.

Exercising regularly will help your cause and can be a permanent solution, they hurt because your muscles arent strong enough to bear with the walking/running.... exercising on them w'd be a good idea.

If you get cramps or charley-horses then consider taking a potassium supplement. It helps me.
