If you want to become a lawyer, start thinking and acting like one. Stop using 2 and 4 and write correctly. The sooner you start thinking and acting like a lawyer, the better chance you have of actually becoming a lawyer.

You should get some basic information from more than one college or university. YOU control your life. The desire to be a lawyer is e x c e l l e n t!!! You should research on the internet and the library if necessary. Princeton, Yale, Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Boston University or even a two-year college will do you just fine. What you want is an environment that will "peak" your interest in the legal area and accelerate your learning situation. This can begin at a cheaper rate by gaining admission to a city college. Then, when you are ready, you can apply for scholarships to one of the 4-year universities. Remember this, What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? - Romans 8:31. Know that, The Lord daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah. - Psalm 68:19. Peace and God Bless

It depends. You need to look at what LAW School you want to go to and see what they prefer from their new entrants. Some law schools prefer that you go to an amazing undergraduate program, like Princeton, and major in political science. Some law schools would actually prefer that a student went through a more unique program, instead of political science, because thats what most students do. For your law school, you need to research graduation rates, and the rate people who actually get jobs and offers when they graduate. You need to research what kind of lawyer you want to be and look up which schools are best known for producing those kinds of lawyers.

This isn't IM - please spell things out. You do not need to go to Princeton to become a good and decent lawyer. Ivy league schools are over-rated and over-priced in the grand scheme of things. There are PLENTY of good law schools that don't go all high-and-mighty on you. In my town is a highly respected law school, The Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
