What are we going to do, put in earplugs and wear blinders all day? You can't even go into the grocery store without seeing somebody flashing some boob or hearing something you really don't want to hear. This is life. You avert your eyes, tune out the filth, and focus on the business at hand. With the internet, that is what anti-spyware and pop-up programs are for. If a person doesn't want to see anything questionable or harmful, they won't visit questionable sites.

If someone really wants sin, they will get it one way or another. They don't need the internet for it, although it does make it much more easily attainable.

Did Jesus hide in a cave while He was here on earth? or did He not eat and socialize with the tax collectors and prostitutes (sinners). If Christians should not be on the internet then they shouldn't watch TV or go to the beach or even walk outside their door. Temptation is everywhere....
And anyway porn pop ups should not be coming up unless you are clicking on the wrong things.

Christians (and all other internet users) are not really "on the internet". Only their typed ASCII is.

ASCII and you shall receive -- much spam and porn (if not internet savy) and a little Eternal Truth gems to reflect upon.

Most Christians on the internet have sufficient IQ and experience to preclude most unwanted spam and porn. We are slowly but surely taking over the internet, as well as all other aspects of world society. Enjoy. Every knee shall bow to our Sovereign GODMAN JESUS here in Spirit ! (John 16:7-16 et al)

I had my next door neighbor come to my house and try to lure me while my wife was on the couch asleep.
The world is a dangerous place.
If Christians cannot control themselves then they need not be on here. I have a great pop up blocker.

Remember this verse?

Jos 24:15 choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house (MOUSE), we will serve the LORD.

Shalom to you bobbie

Yes, we can be on the internet. It's the choice between right and wrong, and if we are deep in our faith we know better than to go for all the worldly things on the internet. Honestly, your question doesn't make sense. What if I asked should Jews really be on the internet, or should Muslims be on the internet/ I mean we are not different from other religions except for the fact in what we believe. That's all.

It's up to the individual. I know some Christians that will only get on the Internet if someone else is around, or if they are in a public place. I avoid sites that I know have questionable graphics or discussions.

I don't have porn popups and temptations.

Maybe you shouldn't be on the internet if you're that threatened by Christians.

What a silly question. Religion has nothing whatsoever to do with it. I use it for all kinds of research.

I wonder what kinds of sites you're visiting, if the popups are "temptations." I usually get things like auto insurance ads, nothing to lead me astray.

Actually Christians have the strength and faith to resist temptation. Maybe the non-Christians shouldn't be on the internet -- according to your logic.
